Our Story

SESAME HOUSE began with an interest in the objects that shape everyday life.

The sheets we sleep in, the towels we reach for, the things that become familiar through use. Often unnoticed, but never without influence.

We set out to make these pieces with greater consideration — through material, proportion, colour and feel. Objects intended to be used often, lived with closely and kept for a long time.

At the centre of SESAME HOUSE is a belief in making time for dreams, both those that find us in sleep and those we choose to follow while we’re awake. That idea continues to shape the way we think about home: as a place for rest, ritual and possibility.

Founded in Australia by Pamela Chua, SESAME HOUSE is a collection of considered objects for everyday living.
